Allied Immigration Services (AIS) is a boutique Registered Migration Agency which was established in 2007 by Wendy Belham. Jenny Bissett joined AIS in 2014 and is also a Registered Migration Agent (RMA). We provide Immigration advice. AIS has processed thousands of visas successfully to date and our business has grown simply through word of mouth recommendations from previous clients.
The options for successful visa applications in Australia are broad and varied and the best way for us to help you is to provide as much information to us initially with your Enquiry as possible. This will ensure a Registered Migration Agent can get back to you with information and advice that is relevant to you.
In some cases, people need to plan their migration years in advance, while for others the process only takes a short time. Each case is different, which is why you need a qualified, experienced Registered Migration Agent to guide you through the legal minefield.
What is a Registered Migration Agent?
A Registered Migration Agent is fully trained in the many different legislative requirements covering the can do’s and cannot do’s for migration and has to maintain up-to-date knowledge by attending ongoing training and needs to meet the requirements set by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA)
Only a Registered Migration Agent can provide Immigration advice for gaining an Australian Visa, however once we take on your case you will be assigned a specialised support team who also assist with the preparation of visa’s prior to lodgements so we can keep your file moving forward in a timely fashion.

Wendy Belham was the founder of Allied Immigration Services since 2007, graduating with a Masters of Migration Law and Practice from Griffith University. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Australian Immigration Law & Practice from Victoria University 2007.
Wendy is passionate about the integrity of immigration advice and is very particular with each case that Allied Immigration Services takes on.
Wendy has also lived and worked overseas as an expatriate in India (Bangalore) for 3 years, which she loved and was very sad to leave. It was in India that she first encountered the Question: “How do I migrate or get a visa to live in Australia?”. Wendy investigated and completed one of the first on-line courses with Victoria University in 2006 to become a Registered Migration Agent. Starting with friend and colleague enquiries in India, her business has continued to grow organically from there.
“I love what I do, the satisfaction of making that special phone call to say: ‘Are you sitting down? Your visa has just been granted. You are now the newest Permanent Resident of Australia.’ This phone call often results in tears. In truth, we are part of the journey at Allied Immigration Services as we understand exactly what it takes to overcome the hurdles to live in this wonderful country Australia. For each new Australian family I always think about the future that their children and their grandchildren can contribute to our blended country. After all, don’t we all come from somewhere else? That’s what I love about being Australian.”
Wendy now works part time as she eases into retirement.
